    Analysis of Retinoids by HPLC, Grom Application Number 08095 A mixture of four retinoid compounds was separated using a GROM-SIL 120 Norm pH-3 PV HPLC column (250 x 4mm, Part No. GSNP30512S2504) by isocratic elution with hexane, THF and acetic acid 90/10/0/0.01 in around 10 minutes and detected by visible absorbance spectroscopy at 365nm. The compounds separated were vitamin A palmitate, 13-cis-retinoic acid, all trans-retinoic acid and acetretin.
  • Metal Chelates of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) by HPLC
    Metal Chelates of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN), Grom Application Number 01022 A mixture of four metal chelates of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) was separated using a GROM-SIL 120 ODS-5 ST column (150 x 4mm, Part No. GSOD50512S1504) by isocratic elution with 10mM tetrabutylammonium bromide, 0.01% PAN and acetonitrile 30/70 v/v in around 25 minutes and detected by visible spectroscopy at 565nm. The compounds separated were Cu II-PAN, Ni II-PAN, Fe III-PAN and Zn II-PAN.
